Crestwood's Homecoming Luncheon a huge success

Crestwood's "Homecoming Luncheon" was held in the Mission Center at noon on Sunday, January 25th, following the special events earlier in the day.  (See "Celebration begins with reenactment of Communion Service" and "Anniversary Worship Service considers past, present and future.")

The luncheon was attended by over 300 people, including current and former Crestwood members and their families.  Entertainment was provided by the Transylvania Boys Acapella (a name they cleverly derived from "TBA" -- "to be announced").  The octet of young men performed a wide repertoire of music, including a couple of "barbershop quartet" tunes in honor of the entertainment at Crestwood's first fellowship gathering in 1959.

The event was planned and organized by the Social Events Team of the 50th Anniversary Committee, under the able leadership of Sice Shanklin. The meal was catered by Good Faith Catering of Lexington.
